Job Description
As a Manager on the Future of Payments team within Visa’s Growth Products organization, you will help shape Visa’s long-term standards posture and contribute to the development of a unified narrative around emerging payment architectures. This role combines technical fluency with strong storytelling skills, supporting Visa’s efforts in next-generation protocols, agentic payment systems, and alternative settlement mechanisms.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Experience working with payment standards, technical protocols, or interoperability frameworks.
Strong ability to translate technical topics into clear narratives and presentations for stakeholders at multiple levels.
Solid understanding of the payments ecosystem, including agentic systems, stablecoins, or non-card payment mechanisms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience coordinating across multiple teams.
Experience participating in industry standards bodies, technical working groups, or regulatory‑adjacent forums.
Familiarity with emerging identity frameworks, decentralized protocols, or AI‑agent architectures.
Experience in global, matrixed organizations with diverse stakeholder groups.
Strong storytelling skills and the ability to support executive‑level communication.
Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5‑10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
