What You'll Do
Act as a key member of a cross‑functional team to optimize lithium‑ion battery performance over life for new and existing cells
Collaborate with cell engineers to develop and debug electrochemical test methods to analyze battery materials, uncover degradation mechanisms, and improve cell lifetime modeling
Partner with data engineers to establish a seamless data pipeline for requirement owners on a global scale
Coordinate cell dissections and electrochemical test workflows with technicians, ensuring execution aligns with planned protocols
Align with global lab locations to ensure test protocol compatibility
Monitor lab performance using Tableau dashboards and identify opportunities for improvement
Support setup and maintenance of test equipment such as glove boxes and battery cyclers
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials, or related field, or equivalent experience
Expertise in electrochemistry and hands‑on chemistry lab experience
Knowledge of electrical test equipment used in battery cell testing or equivalent
Ability to learn new concepts and methods, propose design of experiments, and execute independently
Understanding of lithium‑ion cell chemistry and degradation mechanisms is a plus
Coding experience in Python, Tableau, or similar data analysis tools is a plus
Experience in complex project management or planning across diverse teams is a plus
