Associate Director, Donor Relations (Sunny Isles & Aventura)

The Associate Director, Donor Relations (Sunny Isles and Aventura) is responsible for driving the strategic, operational, and philanthropic success of the organization’s mission within the Sunny Isles and Aventura. The Associate Director serves as the primary ambassador, relationship-builder, and operational overseer for all programs, partnerships, fundraising efforts, community outreach, and organizational impact in this regional market. This role functions as a corporate officer, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, maintaining strong governance practices, and delivering measurable results in program outcomes, fundraising performance, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive regional strategy aligned with organizational objectives and mission priorities. Identify opportunities for expansion, improvement, and innovation in program delivery and regional engagement. Serve as the top decision-maker for regional initiatives, budgets, staffing, and community-facing activities. Lead the design and implementation of a robust fundraising pipeline, including major gifts, corporate partnerships, events, and community campaigns. Cultivate, solicit, and steward high-value donors and institutional partners. Ensure achievement of annual and long-term revenue targets. Program Oversight & Impact Management

Oversee the delivery, quality, and growth of all programs throughout Sunny Isles and Aventura. Evaluate program outcomes, ensure compliance with organizational standards, and introduce improvements when needed. Community & External Relations

Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare partners, civic leaders, government agencies, corporate partners, and community organizations. Represent the organization at regional events, speaking engagements and coalitions. Increase awareness of the mission and drive engagement in both philanthropic and volunteer initiatives. Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or advanced certification in nonprofit management, business administration, public health, or related field preferred. 10+ years of experience, ideally within a nonprofit, healthcare, or mission-driven organization. Proven success leading fundraising initiatives, major gift portfolios, or regional philanthropic programs. Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and public speaking abilities. Demonstrated ability to cultivate donors, negotiate partnerships, and lead high-impact community engagement. High emotional intelligence, integrity, and a passion for mission-centered work. Seniority Level
