Westchester Medical Center Health Network Job Summary: The Manager of GME Professional Development will oversee the implementation of professional development and educational initiatives for the WMC Health GME enterprise, which includes over 50 programs and more than 500 trainees. The role manages all aspects of educational programming, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring progress, summarizing project status, and analyzing and presenting outcome data to the Director of GME Accreditation and DIO. Key Responsibilities
Implement educational programming for program directors, associate program directors, program faculty, and trainees. Track participation and outcome measures, partnering with the Director of GME Accreditation and DIO on strategic planning of professional development and educational programming. Define professional development and educational objectives for stakeholders based on program and institutional performance, accreditation data, and hospital leadership priorities. Develop and implement strategies for GME stakeholder engagement and evaluate satisfaction tools and assessments. Document compliance with ACGME-required areas of non‑specialty specific education and prepare reports for institutional site visits and hospital leadership. Manage GME grand rounds planning, reimbursement, and strategies to increase collaboration between programs and departments. Manage annual seminars such as the Program Director/Associate Program Director Bootcamp, Program Administrator Bootcamp, and Chief Resident/Fellow Orientation/Training. Manage program simulation requests and budgets to optimize efficiency and address program accreditation and quality gaps. Undertake special projects and assignments as directed. Qualifications / Requirements
Five or more years of progressive experience in GME at the program or institutional level, including experience in the development and execution of educational programming for program faculty and trainees. Knowledge of ACGME institutional and program‑level requirements. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. TAGME certification or willingness to obtain TAGME certification when eligible.
