Job Description Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) delivers mission‑critical applications for top‑tier enterprises worldwide. Our cloud offers unmatched hyperscale, multitenant services deployed in more than 50 regions. OCI is expanding beyond the traditional public‑cloud boundaries to include dedicated, hybrid and multi‑cloud, edge computing, and more.
In the Technical Strategy and Oversight (TSO) organization, our mission is to support customer choice, transparency, and value for cloud infrastructure. We are embarking on ambitious new initiatives such as building new innovative platforms, high‑performance data plane primitives, frameworks to support OCI developers, and a new service platform that will allow us to run the full variety of OCI services, including our most demanding, high‑performance, high‑availability services.
Responsibilities With your superb technical, research, and analytical capabilities and demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively to delight our customers, you will collaborate with multiple teams to build the next generation OCI Service Platform. As a consulting member of the technical staff, you will play a leadership role in our team, involved in all areas including design, development, operations, design reviews, and mentoring.
Preferred Skills & Experience
10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across teams.
Experience as a technical lead, guiding architecture, design, and implementation of complex software systems.
Experience mentoring engineers.
Expertise in software development of cloud‑native services.
Expertise building and operating core infrastructure services.
Experience with designing, building, and operating large‑scale distributed systems.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only.
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 - $251,600 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
