Oracle
Job Description
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) delivers mission‑critical applications for top tier enterprises around the world. Our cloud offers unmatched hyperscale, multitenant services deployed in more than 50 regions worldwide. OCI is expanding its mission beyond the traditional boundaries of public cloud to include dedicated, hybrid and multi cloud, edge computing, and more.
In the Technical Strategy and Oversight (TSO) organization, our mission is to support customer choice, transparency, and value when it comes to cloud infrastructure. We’re embarking on ambitious new initiatives such as building new innovative platforms, high‑performance data plane primitives, frameworks to support OCI developers, and a new service platform that will allow us to run the full variety of OCI services, including our most demanding, high‑performance, high‑availability services.
We are looking for seasoned, experienced engineers to join a new service platform team within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The service platform is for running OCI services and encompasses low‑level execution runtime, service management and high‑level tooling. This team is focused on developer experience in the platform, including workflows for service change management and creating new mechanisms that enable engineers to debug locally and distribute software globally. Our mission is to help OCI developers concentrate on building their services while we ensure they run efficiently at cloud scale. We need you to challenge existing engineering assumptions and boundaries, bring your expertise in highly performant, reliable software engineering and help us bring OCI to the next level.
These are exciting times, and our team is still new and growing. This is your opportunity to build ambitious new initiatives with broad impact. We’re looking for engineers who are self‑motivated, passionate about solving complex software challenges, and able to dive deep into systems to understand and improve them. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
