The OCI Physical Networking team is building a new Infrastructure-as-Code orchestration platform to test and deploy configuration and firmware updates across our worldwide fleet. In this role, you will contribute to the development of this new orchestration platform in partnership with network engineers. You should be passionate and highly skilled in programming in at least one programming language including C++/Go/Java/Python. Writing structured and optimized code for improving performance and scalability when it is deployed in a cloud environment as a part of a service operating in a distributed environment is one of the most critical requirements.
Responsibilities
Leading the development and delivery of major features end-to-end
Participating in all phases of the SDLC including requirements refinement, design, development, testing, release and post release service operations
Providing mentorship to junior engineers
Writing correct, secure, maintainable and robust code with appropriate tests.
Improving the team engineering practices, ops practices, development process, ownership, mentoring.
Influencing partner teams
Leading and driving the design and architecture of your product/service along with operational readiness & excellence for the same

Compensation and Benefits US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 - $223,400 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle US offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes the following:

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
