Mechanical Superintendent Actalent

Description The Project Superintendent assists the Construction Project Manager to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet the standard of excellence established by the company and customer. The role also executes selected projects, managing financials, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction, while maintaining quality standards across all tasks.

Responsibilities

Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with stakeholders.

Lead and manage onsite team and subcontractors, providing daily updates to the project manager.

Coordinate and oversee job site logistics, daily work activities, day‑to‑day customer interactions, and progress of all subcontractors.

Order material for projects, manage on‑site material, reconcile shipments, and coordinate delivery of equipment and material with subcontractors.

Qualifications & Skills

10 years of construction industry experience in a supervisory role – commercial (technical experience in a supervisory capacity).

Two‑year degree from a technical college in a related field with four years of construction industry experience, or equivalent education and experience.

High School Diploma at minimum.

Proficient in reading plans and specifications; familiar with project schedules, budgets, and safety procedures.

Proficient with MS Office Suite and Outlook.

Excellent oral and verbal communication skills – customer facing.

Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean driving record; no major or frequent traffic violations.

OSHA 30 certification is a plus (Trane will facilitate if required).

Experience Level Intermediate Level

Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Maitland, FL.

Pay and Benefits Pay range: $48.08 – $48.08/hr.
