Engineering Analytics, now a part of MacKay Sposito, is seeking a full‑time Project Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. This role will have a mix of office and field-based responsibilities and will involve traveling approximately 50% of the time in Southern California.

Key Responsibilities

Construction management/inspection activities

Design of water, wastewater, and other infrastructure systems and facilities

Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of groundwater/wastewater projects

Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub‑consultant coordination

Industrial Process Control and Control Systems Design

Assist in proposal preparation, including oral presentations

Prepare the scope, schedule, and budget for new projects

Work within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects

Take ownership of projects from start to finish

Review submittals and RFIs, prepare designs for a variety of projects, keeping within budget and meeting timelines/milestones

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of relevant experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater project design

At least one year of experience in field construction oversight

Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Civil Engineering

Familiarity with Project Management platforms such as ACC is preferred

Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 is preferred

A P.E. license in California or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe is preferred

Ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships

Ability to learn and adapt

Ability to manage several project tasks concurrently

Ability to work independently on construction sites

Solid organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Ability to establish and maintain relationships with multidisciplinary team members

Salary and Benefits The annual wage range for this position is \$90,000–\$120,000, depending on experience. Full‑time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, FSA, supplemental life insurance, 100% company‑paid life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, a 401(k) matching program, paid vacation, sick time, 11 paid holidays, employee ownership options, and licensure expense reimbursement. Salary is also subject to annual profit‑sharing bonuses.
