Summary We are seeking a Java Developer to join the Partnership Risk Engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of next‑generation risk platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on engineer passionate about scalable system design, cloud‑native development, and intelligent automation.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java‑based microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Architects to deliver end‑to‑end risk management solutions.
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Harness or Jenkins to ensure seamless integration and deployment across GCP and AWS environments.
Enhance backend performance, scalability, and resilience within distributed cloud infrastructures.
Integrate with modern data platforms and decision services supporting real‑time fraud detection.
Leverage AI‑powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation.
Troubleshoot complex issues across systems, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
Contribute to platform modernization by incorporating containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and NoSQL solutions where applicable.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in enterprise software development.
Technical Skills
Expert‑level proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
Hands‑on experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL systems.
Solid experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Harness or Jenkins) and deploying in cloud environments (GCP preferred, AWS a plus).
Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and distributed systems architecture.
Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools for enhanced code efficiency and quality.

Pay Transparency The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $65.00 - $75.00/hour. Non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full‑time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus.
