As we expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part‑Time Controller to oversee and manage our financial operations.
Position Overview The Part‑Time Controller will play a critical role in managing the company’s accounting operations and financial reporting. This position requires a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of global accounting practices and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, compliance, and reporting across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and cost accounting.
Manage financial reporting and ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage outside experts to ensure compliance with global tax regulations and filings, including VAT, GST, and other relevant taxes.
Develop and maintain internal control policies, procedures, and documentation to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to optimize profitability and growth.
Monitor and manage cash flow, including foreign currency transactions, ensuring the company meets its financial obligations.
Assist with M&A activities, due diligence, and integration of acquired entities.
Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams across multiple regions to align on financial strategies and operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
7+ years of experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 3 years in a controller or similar role.
Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and local GAAP across key markets.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Experience in managing cross‑border financial operations and foreign exchange transactions.
