Job Summary We are on the hunt for a Software Engineer in Quality with a penchant for automation, to design and execute sophisticated automated tests targeting backend systems, ensuring top‑notch quality releases. The ideal candidate will join our team to construct API and end‑to‑end (E2E) tests using Java, working closely with the engineering team. You'll play a crucial role in shaping our quality assurance strategy, leveraging your skills to influence test automation and quality metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage API‑level automated testing for REST‑based and distributed services.
Develop comprehensive E2E automated workflows across varied microservices.
Craft maintainable, high‑quality test automation scripts in Java.
Enhance and expand our existing automation framework and test utilities.
Collaboratively outline test plans, acceptance criteria, and strategies with the backend team, ensuring rigorous test coverage for new features.
Must‑Have Skills
Proficient in Java with solid experience in API test automation.
Demonstrable experience with developing E2E automated tests in distributed environments.
Deep understanding of various testing methodologies, including integration and regression testing.
Industry Experience
Prior experience in software quality within distributed systems or microservices architecture is highly preferred. Knowledge in related technologies (Kafka, Redis, Spark, NoSQL) is a plus.
