Position Overview Integra™, a game‑changer in the data center industry focusing on modular data centers, power systems, cooling infrastructure, and mission‑critical construction, is seeking an Assistant General Counsel. The ideal candidate has a balanced background in corporate commercial matters, large‑scale digital infrastructure projects involving construction, engineering, and real‑estate development, and possesses strong negotiation, full project management, and lifecycle administration skills.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant General Counsel reports to and supports the company’s General Counsel and works directly with cross‑functional executive and team leaders across corporate, construction, and product manufacturing business lines.
Drafts, reviews, and revises a variety of legal documents including commercial business and real‑estate transactions, construction services, product materials supply contracts, infrastructure and major equipment leases, and purchase agreements. Other legal and non‑legal tasks may be assigned as needed.
Advise on contract administration, potential claims, and legal strategies related to construction or design issues, including forensic construction scheduling.
Provide legal guidance on procurement processes, including RFI/RFQ/RFP development and contract drafting.
Understand business and compliance issues quickly and accurately, creating and deploying appropriate action plans.
Maintain a strong understanding of legal and business confidentiality considerations.
Possess strong experience in corporate matters and commercial, construction, infrastructure, and real‑estate transactions.
Experience in labor and employment law is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate degree and a Juris Doctorate from an ABA‑accredited law school; licensed to practice law in Texas.
At least 5‑7 years of experience in a private law firm or in‑house counsel role.
General understanding of corporate law, commercial law, construction law, real‑estate law, and utilities law.
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and administering internal corporate programs.
Ability to apply legal and risk analysis to factual circumstances and exercise sound judgment.
Skill in conveying clear, accurate legal advice and being solution‑oriented.
Ability to apply and integrate organizational goals and objectives into work.
Excellent legal writing: describing facts, analyzing issues, and presenting advice clearly.
Capacity to manage a large, varied workload efficiently and independently.
Provide strategic and day‑to‑day direction to colleagues at all levels.
Respond to priorities of business leaders and external customers.
Plan, organize, and implement strategically.
Balance and differentiate between legal concerns and business concerns.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Develop and maintain relationships with people at all levels inside and outside the organization.
Communicate orally and in writing on sensitive or highly charged issues, facilitating understanding and influencing others.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with common office software (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive).
Experience with Procore is a plus.
