Position Overview Integra™, a game-changer in the data center industry with modular data centers, power systems, cooling infrastructure, and mission‑critical construction, seeks an Assistant General Counsel. The ideal candidate has a balanced background in corporate commercial business matters, large‑scale digital infrastructure projects involving construction, engineering, and real estate development, and possesses strong negotiation and full project management and lifecycle administration skills.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant General Counsel reports to and supports the company’s General Counsel and works directly with cross‑functional executive and team leaders across corporate, construction, and product manufacturing business lines.
Drafts, reviews, and revises a variety of legal documents ranging from commercial business and real estate transactions, construction services, product materials supply contracts, infrastructure and major equipment leases and purchase agreements.
Advises on contract administration, potential claims, and legal strategies related to construction or design issues, including forensic construction scheduling.
Provides legal guidance on procurement processes, including RFI/RFQ/RFP development and contract drafting.
Understands business and compliance issues and opportunities quickly and accurately, then creates and deploys appropriate action plans.
Maintains strong understanding of both legal and business confidentiality considerations.
Demonstrates experience in corporate matters and commercial, construction, infrastructure and real estate transactions.
Labor and employment law experience is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree and a Juris Doctorate from an ABA‑accredited law school, licensed to practice law in Texas.
5–7 years’ experience working for a private law firm or as in‑house counsel.
General understanding of corporate, commercial, construction, real estate, and utilities law.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience developing, implementing, and administering internal corporate programs.
Ability to apply legal and risk analysis to factual circumstances and exercise sound judgment.
Clear and accurate legal advice, solution‑oriented, to assist clients in achieving business objectives.
Incorporates organizational goals into work product and procedures.
Strong legal writing skills describing facts, analyzing issues, and presenting advice clearly and succinctly.
Manages a large, varied workload efficiently and independently.
Provides strategic and day‑to‑day direction to colleagues at all levels, working productively with colleagues.
Responds to priorities of business leaders and external customers effectively.
Strategic planning, organization, and implementation skill.
Balances legal and business concerns.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Develops and maintains relationships with people at all levels within and outside the organization.
Communicates orally and in writing with people at all levels, handling sensitive or highly charged issues to facilitate understanding and persuade and influence others.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Technical Skills
Uses common office software for developing and exchanging electronic correspondence (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive).
Procore familiarity is a plus.
