About the role As a Health Provider Revenue Cycle Senior Manager, you will lead enterprise‑scale revenue cycle transformations for complex organizations (AMC’s, IDN’s, large medical groups) and be at the core of shaping and delivering business transformation projects to respond to our clients’ business challenges. You will own outcomes from strategy, value creation opportunities and through implementation, spanning operating model redesign, technology enablement and where appropriate, transitions to managed services/extended business office. You are likely to serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and develop our people and practice.

Responsibilities

Lead Revenue Cycle solutions across complex, large‐scale health care providers; understand the Revenue Cycle process across Patient Access, Mid‑cycle/Revenue Integrity (CDM/Charge Capture, CDI) and Back‑end (billing, collections, denials) to improve net revenue and accelerate cash.

Identify and prioritize client value creation opportunities based on research and analysis activities and an understanding of client visions, performance gaps, and needs.

Shape and lead the business solution implementation: define and supervise business architecture, process design and development activities, developing capabilities and performance measurements/KPIs.

Lead process and operational improvement transformation including workflows, policies and procedures, and key performance metrics.

Develop implementation plans and lead teams to execute project deliverables to schedule, budget and performance goals, manage project financials, assess and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle and make adjustments as needed, ensuring planned business outcomes are achieved.

Embed automation and advanced analytics such as intelligent work queues, denials prediction, coding assistance—and have an understanding of Tableau/PowerBI/Python—to deliver measurable, sustainable improvement.

Help clients start the process of modernizing their revenue cycle and finance functions.

Stand up or transition to managed services/EBOS (SLA/OLA design, playbooks, staffing and performance governance) when aligned with client strategy.

Support technology enablement with provider IT and vendors, such as Epic, Cerner and clearinghouses.

Direct business pilots and client deployment activities.

Design the project’s overall communication strategy and approach to the desired change journey.

Manage engagement risk, project economics, deliverable content, and ensure client buy‑in.

Client Relationship Development and Management

Manage key client stakeholder relationships and communications at all stages of the project, facilitating complex meetings, presentations and workshops to build client commitment for change.

Shape pursuits, craft Statements of Work and proposals, cultivate follow‑on opportunities at clients and develop compelling business case/proposals for new business opportunities.

Own engagement economics (forecast, margin, change orders, billing cadence) and proactively manage delivery risk and quality.

Be a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Practice Building

Participate in practice‑building activities (e.g., conference participation, thought leadership development, market offering development, recruiting).

Share your experiences in specific practice specialty areas to drive firm‑recognized expertise development.

Provide coaching and mentoring to managers, consultants, and analyst team and practice members.

Encourage innovation from team members; support their ideas and career goals.

Stay on top of current regulations, trends, and technologies influencing revenue cycle across broad client types.

Travel as needed, up to 80 %.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of finance and management consulting experience.

Minimum of 8 years of healthcare provider Revenue Cycle environment experience.

Minimum of 4 years of experience transforming revenue cycle processes to maximize realizable revenue, minimize denials and accelerate cash flow.

Bachelor’s Degree.

Strong financial acumen, ability to develop budgets, forecast revenue, develop early warning signs and adapt the organization to achieve financial targets.

Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Robotics Process Automation, Data Visualization and Analytics in Revenue Cycle.

Solid financial analysis and diagnosis skills.

Very strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Experience standing up or governing managed services/EBOS.

Adept at using experience and knowledge of industry, geographic and technology trends to assess and shape business solutions.

Effective leadership and management skills with a proven ability to mobilize and energize project teams to deliver results.

Strong executive level relationship building skills.

Ability to create and deliver high‑impact communications to senior audiences (written and oral) and facilitate complex discussions.

MBA/MHA or similar advanced degree.
