What will you be doing? Technical Solutions Architects are customer advocates with superb business acumen and a high degree of technical proficiency. They are passionate about transforming business through innovative solutions that deliver best‑in‑class omnichannel experiences, resulting in “customer delight.” They use data‑driven approaches and cutting‑edge AI tools to align and execute WWT’s portfolio across the business. WWT is currently searching for an AWS Technical Solutions Architect to maintain and expand our AWS business.
Responsibilities Include:
Accelerate profitable growth of our AWS pipeline and strategic opportunities.
Align and optimize our AWS solution portfolio to enhance focus and predictability.
Create scale with standardized and repeatable AWS solution offerings.
Build and maintain the AWS solution portfolio as part of the team that defines the go‑to‑market strategy for WWT to grow our AWS business.
Provide technical pre‑sales support to field sales teams in their efforts to win new logos and grow existing customer relationships.
Build and maintain technical marketing and proof‑of‑work collateral for our field teams and customers.
Develop digital sales brochures, technical solution briefings, reference architectures, advisory services, technical demonstrations, proofs‑of‑concept, white papers, and thought leadership articles.
Collaborate with partners and professional services organization to align the AWS solution portfolio and AWS services capabilities.
Train WWT staff and strategic partners on marketing, selling, and delivering AWS architectures and solutions.
Achieve certification requirements to maintain partner status and achieve necessary specializations.
Qualifications
At least 5 years selling, architecting, implementing and/or marketing AWS solutions.
Working knowledge or expertise in AWS design and architecture.
Ability for overnight travel (25% – 50%).
Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Deep familiarity and proficiency with modern AI tools.
AWS Cloud Associate Architect or plan to immediately attain required (Professional Cloud Architect preferred).
4‑year bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field or equivalent professional experience preferred.
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. The reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $124,800.00 to $150,0000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
