BIM Information & Quality Manager
We’re seeking a
BIM Information & Quality Manager
to lead our digital construction initiatives and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all project models. This role oversees BIM standards, model coordination, Trimble layout workflows, and prefabrication integration—connecting VDC, engineering, fabrication, and field teams to deliver precise, buildable information.
You’ll supervise Trimble Operators, Prefabrication Coordinators, and BIM Technicians while driving continuous improvement across model workflows and digital project delivery.
What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor teams supporting BIM, layout, and prefabrication workflows.
Develop and enforce BIM standards, templates, and execution plans.
Oversee model coordination, clash detection, QA/QC reviews, and CDE management.
Direct Trimble layout processes and validate model‑to‑field accuracy.
Ensure models are fabrication‑ready and manage spools, breakdowns, and prefab packages.
Track fabrication progress and resolve discrepancies between models and field conditions.
Maintain QA procedures, checklists, and digital deliverable reviews.
Provide training for project teams, field personnel, and new hires.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of BIM/VDC management experience, ideally with MEP coordination and prefabrication workflows.
Strong understanding of Trimble total stations and layout processes.
Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Trimble Connect.
Experience managing technical staff and coordinating office–shop–field workflows.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred
Experience with automation (Dynamo, scripting, plug‑ins).
Knowledge of ISO 19650 or similar BIM standards.
BIM‑to‑ERP or production system integration experience.
