Senior Project Engineer – Embedded Systems and Electronics
We’re an innovative Los Angeles-based technology company looking for a
Senior Project Engineer
to lead the development of electronics and embedded systems for advanced communications and medical products. The role is hands‑on, high‑impact, and will drive products from concept to production, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and working closely with contract manufacturers to ensure smooth design transfer and successful launches.
Responsibilities
Lead electronics & embedded system architecture, design, testing, and validation
Review schematics, PCB layouts, and firmware
Support manufacturing builds and troubleshoot design/field issues
Contribute to proposals, technical documentation, and design history files (ISO 13485)
Qualifications
7+ years in hardware and embedded systems
Hands‑on with Altium (or similar), FPGAs/CPLDs, microprocessors
Solid analog/digital design and debugging skills
B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering
Experience in high‑speed video/audio/data transmission preferred
Prior ISO 13485 or FDA‑regulated experience a big plus
Senior Level Mid‑Senior
Employment Type Full‑time
Location Los Angeles, CA
Salary Range $140,000 – $170,000 per year, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.
