Opportunity Overview A respected New York‑based litigation practice is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney with strong exposure to complex litigation matters. This role is ideal for an attorney who has handled pre‑trial litigation in construction‑related disputes, mass torts, personal injury claims, products liability issues, and other significant defense matters. Key Responsibilities
Manage complex insurance defense litigation matters from pre‑discovery through trial preparation.
Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and responses.
Develop factual and legal strategies and provide strategic counsel to insurer and corporate clients.
Participate in hearings, depositions, settlement negotiations, and litigation conferences.
Collaborate with partners, experts, and litigation teams on high‑exposure matters.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
Minimum of 3–5 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
Experience handling complex litigation involving construction disputes, mass torts, personal injury, or products liability.
Demonstrated analytical ability and strong legal writing and advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
