Identify and apply relevant education-law provisions to cases. Evaluate claims and promote early, just resolution of disputes. Collaborate effectively with colleagues. Requirements
Minimum of 6 years of civil litigation experience. Proven track record of managing civil litigation cases through all stages. Civil rights litigation experience is highly desirable. Licensed to practice law in Washington (required). Additional bar licenses in Oregon, California, or Idaho are preferred. Background in education, including teaching and school administration, is strongly preferred. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications
Licensed to practice law in Washington. Skills
Experience with federal court practice is a plus. Experience with Washington Superior Courts is a plus. Strong advocacy skills with a focus on civil rights and educational equity. Hybrid work environment with in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
