OBGYN Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Midwife
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at BMC-Brighton, a member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking a full-time, experienced
Certified Nurse Midwife
to join our team. The St. Margaret’s Center for Women and Infants at BMC-Brighton offers an intimate, personalized patient care experience with expert doctors, nurse midwives, and nurses. BMC-Brighton is located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, near several Boston universities, and serves a diverse patient population from the Boston area and beyond.
Responsibilities
Work independently and collaborate with a team of physicians
Maintain a 40‑hour work week that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
Perform bedside procedures as appropriate for the patient population
Act as first assist in procedural areas or operating rooms
Utilize teaching opportunities and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
PA or CNM with experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology is encouraged to apply
Graduated from an accredited program
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Current Massachusetts license to practice
Ideal candidates have 2+ years of OB/GYN experience or a strong interest in OB/GYN
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated clinical expertise for functioning in an independent role
Compensation Range:
$83,000.00 - $120,500.00
