Certified Nurse Midwife

to join our team. This position will serve the practice at BMC-Brighton. The St. Margaret’s Center for Women and Infants at BMC-Brighton offers an intimate, personalized patient care experience with expert doctors, nurse midwives, and nurses. BMC-Brighton is in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, near some of Boston’s major universities. The hospital serves a diverse patient population from the Boston area and beyond.

BMC-Brighton, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is comprised of sub‑specialties including General Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology. BMC-Brighton serves as a tertiary care hospital and is a teaching hospital of Boston University School of Medicine and Tufts University School of Medicine.

Incoming OB/GYN PA or CNM will work independently and in collaboration with a team of physicians

40‑hour work week which includes nights/weekends/holidays

Performs bedside procedures, as appropriate to the patient population

Act as the first assist in procedural areas or the operating room

Teaching opportunities are available as well as involvement with ongoing quality improvement initiatives

PA or CNM with experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology are encouraged to apply

Graduation from an accredited program

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification

Current Massachusetts license to practice is required

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of OB/GYN experience and/or strong interest in OB/GYN Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Demonstrate clinical expertise for functioning in an independent role

Compensation Range $83,000.00- $120,500.00

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licenses as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
