Cooper Tacia is a construction and contracting company founded in 1996 and incorporated in 2003, operating across the southeast United States. The Division Manager will run the Atlanta location as a self‑contained business unit within the Cooper Tacia umbrella.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain full P&L responsibility.
Direct oversight of office staff, precon lead(s), business development lead(s), project management lead(s), etc.
Make and hold teams and people accountable; develop leaders and teamwork.
Winning business is a fundamental responsibility; responsible for your pipeline.
Promote Cooper Tacia as a go‑to partner for CM@R and Design‑Build delivery methods.
Build relationships with municipalities to secure local work.
Lead project operations and ensure proper systems/processes are in place.
Ensure projects are completed on time, profitable, and with strong client relationships.
Address all legal and compliance issues.
Develop and track operating budgets.
Plan for the future with 1‑year, 3‑year, and 5‑year plans.
Serve as public spokesperson; attend public meetings.
Provide training, tips, and development opportunities.
Maintain a positive culture; foster social development of teams.
Other tasks and initiatives as requested by corporate management.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or construction management; advanced business degree preferred.
Extensive experience running all aspects of construction with business and risk management expertise.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience running a general contracting or construction business unit with full P&L responsibility.
Experience with MS Office, Procore, Acumatica.
