Team members are responsible for ensuring efficient operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The role requires strong communication, basic math, and physical stamina.
Responsibilities
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training Orientation and job‑site training is provided.
Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills
Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
Make correct monetary change.
Excellent verbal, written, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Good motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements and precise hand‑eye coordination.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, temperature ranges from 36°F in cooler areas to 90°F+ in some work areas, and occasional rapid temperature changes.
Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including a walk‑in cooler; hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500°F.
Typical duties involve talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid‑range vision, depth perception, and differentiation between hot and cold surfaces.
Physical Demands Standing for the majority of tasks, short walks, short periods of sitting for paperwork. Manual tasks include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching.
Examples of physical requirements:
- Carry cases of ingredients and supplies up to 50 lb (up to 3 ft × 1.5 ft).
- Carry large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz) to storage shelves.
- Handle trays of pizza dough (≈12 lb each) two at a time.
- Push or pull dollies with trays up to 30 in requiring up to 7.5 lb of force.
- Occasionally climb stairs or ladders for maintenance.
Additional Information Eye‑hand coordination is essential. Frequent use of hands, forearms, and wrists during pizza dough shaping, pizza peel usage, rolling cutters, and cardboard pizza box assembly.
Team members must be able to grasp various tools: cans, phones, pizza cutter, pizza wheel, and pizza boxes.
Driver or Store Management Duties
Deliver product by car and then to door for customers.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Driver Requirements
Valid driver's license with safe‑driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
Driver Essential Skills
Navigational skills: read a map, locate addresses, and navigate challenging terrain.
Carry pizza and beverage while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Drive within a designated delivery area, making several deliveries per shift.
Driver Physical Demands

Climbing: navigate five or more flights of stairs during deliveries.
