Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine is seeking a second board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join our collaborative team of specialists in North Haven, Connecticut. This is an opportunity to contribute to a well-established, locally owned hospital that values clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassionate care.
Role Overview The primary responsibility of the anesthesiologist will be to provide comprehensive anesthesia services in support of our specialty departments in North Haven and Guilford, including Cardiology, Emergency, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Surgery. This role involves:
Direct case management and oversight of anesthesia protocols
Collaboration with an anesthesia-focused technical team including VTS and VTS-in training technicians
Providing training, mentorship, and guidance to technicians
Supporting a diverse caseload in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
