The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at PCS for People will lead the organization through its next chapter of growth and transformation. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will guide a distributed workforce, strengthen the leadership team, and build the organizational systems and culture required for scale. The CEO will oversee departmental directors and C‑Suite executives and work closely with the Board. This leader strikes the right balance between strategic vision, operational understanding, and cultural stewardship while advancing the mission of digital inclusion.

$250-300K DOQ

Roles & Responsibilities
Define and execute long-term strategic priorities in partnership with the Board.
Lead organizational growth, including new locations and increased device distribution.
Foster a mission‑driven, people‑centered culture that strengthens performance and retention.
Build, develop, and empower the leadership team with clear roles and accountability.
Improve decision‑making rigor and reduce operational bottlenecks and over‑centralization.
Implement scalable systems and processes to support a multi‑location operating model.
Drive operational excellence in production, logistics, distribution, and customer experience.
Oversee financial stewardship, including budgets, forecasting, and resource alignment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with the COO.
Strengthen corporate partnerships to ensure a reliable supply of refurbished technology.
Expand fundraising through grants, philanthropic partnerships, and donor engagement.
Serve as the primary liaison to the Board, offering transparency, insight, and strategic updates.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, technology, or a related field.
Senior leadership experience in nonprofit, mission‑driven, technology, or operationally complex organizations.
Experience managing multi‑site or distributed operations with an ability to scale structure and systems.
Demonstrated success building high‑performing teams, leading through growth or change, and developing talent.
Strong operational literacy with the ability to understand technical processes and guide strategic improvement.
Experience with fundraising, grants, philanthropy, or corporate partnerships preferred but not required.
Highly collaborative leadership approach with strong communication, EQ, and ability to work across functions and personalities.
Strong project management, problem‑solving mindset, and comfort operating in both startup and scaling environments.
Ability to identify organizational gaps and drive creative, process‑oriented solutions.
