Job Description We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all operations at 876 Geary Street. The GM will manage store team members, ensure quality food production, maintain inventory, process orders, and handle delivery as needed.
Responsibilities
Operate all equipment used for food preparation.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product and maintain proper sanitation.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Train new team members and provide ongoing orientation.
Deliver product to customers and manage delivery operations, including driving and navigation.
Escort flyers and door hangers while ensuring a safe driving record and insured vehicle.
Essential Functions/Skills
Perform basic math accurately and quickly; handle monetary change.
Use a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders.
Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
Coordinate motor skills for rapid and precise movements.
Read maps and navigate varied terrain to deliver to customers.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying weather conditions during delivery.
Temperature extremes inside the store from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and higher.
Fumes from food odors; dust exposure; cramped quarters.
Physical demands: standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying various weights, pushing, climbing stairs, reaching, bending, and squatting.
