Position Description The Bove lab at the Mission Bay campus of UCSF is looking to appoint a Junior Specialist. The laboratory focuses on Sex and Gender-informed Neurology, as well as Digital Medicine. We are looking for talented, motivated, enthusiastic candidates who want to aid in exciting research discoveries in both digital medicine and sex and gender informed neurology.

The successful applicant must work closely with the PI and other faculty and their lab members to support the lab's mission.

Candidates who are looking for additional experience working in a clinical research laboratory and patient interaction before pursuing graduate education or a further career are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in biology, neuroscience, neurobiology, biochemistry, or related disciplines, or at least four years of research experience.

Must have obtained the degree requirement by the time of hire.

Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.

Detail-oriented, excellent organization, analytical skills.

Familiarity with patient interaction, data collection, patient recruitment, quantitative and/or computational analysis preferred.

Preferred if interested in working in the lab for at least two years.
