Join to apply for the Accounting Manager role at CFS Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Location: Peekskill, NY Responsibilities Manage the month-end close process, including preparation and review of financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries Supervise and mentor accounting staff; ensure accurate and timely completion of daily accounting functions Review financials, variance analyses, and cash flow reporting Oversee accounting for multiple entities and intercompany transactions Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls Collaborate with operations, finance leadership, and cross-functional teams to support business objectives Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors Improve and maintain processes within the company’s ERP system Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based reports and analyses to support decision-making Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior-level role Industry experience in corporate accounting, manufacturing, or professional services preferred ERP system experience required (Yardi reference removed—you can use your system of choice) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills CPA or progress toward CPA a plus Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industry: Accounting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at CFS by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
