Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Position Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to provide high‑level administrative support to attorneys and paralegals. This role involves preparing legal documents, managing complex filings, coordinating trial preparations, and maintaining confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of court procedures and protocols and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. This position requires working three days per week in‑office and follows a 7‑hour workday schedule.
Responsibilities
Draft correspondence and prepare shell pleadings with minimal supervision
Maintain attorney calendars and coordinate travel arrangements
Organize and schedule meetings and conferences
Process incoming mail, enter attorney time, and prepare expense reports
Monitor court appearance dates, pleadings, and filing requirements
Proofread documents for accuracy and quality
Handle e‑filings and manage federal and state court procedures
Provide administrative and overflow support to the litigation team
Act as a team facilitator and assist with new procedures
Manage photocopying, mailing, and messenger/FedEx deliveries
Required Qualifications
Minimum of seven years of litigation experience in a law firm
Expert‑level knowledge of court protocols and filing requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and e‑filling systems
Ability to type at least 60 wpm and transcribe dictations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters
Preferred Qualifications
Strong problem‑solving and multitasking abilities
Flexible and proactive approach to changing priorities
Willingness to work overtime as needed
