A top-tier global law firm is seeking a Litigation Secretary to join the team in San Francisco.
Who You Are
Litigation secretary with at least 5 years of experience
Bachelor’s degree, preferred
Skilled in iManage and familiar with legal terminology and court rules
Strong organizational, communication, and proofreading skills
Available to work overtime as needed
What You’ll Do
Coordinate court filings and service of process under state, federal, and local rules
Draft and proofread pleadings, discovery documents, subpoenas, and deposition exhibits
Manage documents and pleadings in iManage and shared drives
Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and track court deadlines
Liaise with docket department and vendors for courtesy copies and chambers deliveries
Arrange court reporters and videographers for depositions and hearings
Process invoices, expenses, and travel arrangements per firm policy
Enter attorney timekeeping and assist with billing tasks
Prepare new business intake forms, conflict checks, and engagement letters
Conduct basic legal research and maintain client relationships
Provide additional administrative support as needed

You deliver accurate, timely work while managing multiple priorities
Attorneys and clients rely on you as a proactive, dependable partner
You keep documents, deadlines, and communications organized for smooth operations
Salary Range: $70,000 – 97,000 annually, based on experience
Location: San Francisco, CA – Hybrid
