Team You will be a member of the Software Engineering department supporting the Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Implementation teams.

Your Role We are seeking a strong and versatile developer to join the portfolio analytics engineering team.

Develop and maintain services written in Java (Spring Boot) on AWS containers.

Support legacy systems and integrated Python processes.

Collaborate with portfolio managers to answer questions, explain results, and plan future enhancements.

Conduct ad‑hoc analysis and provide insights to support investment decisions.

Prioritize urgent and future work, balancing pragmatic short‑term solutions with long‑term design.

Contribute to the low‑touch systematic rebalancing platform and overall investment platform.

Qualifications

6–8+ years relevant industry work experience and academic background in Computer Science or related field.

Strong coding, debugging, and profiling skills along with proven analytical skills.

Deep knowledge of and ability to develop in Java and Spring Boot.

Interest in discovering and refining requirements and working directly with users.

Hands‑on experience with Python, NumPy, and Pandas or similar quantitative stack is a plus.

Solid working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, etc.).

Familiarity with financial mathematics and practical application in calculation of financial measures.

Experience with REST‑style service‑based architectures.

Familiarity with modern collaborative software lifecycle tools (Git, Jira, Jenkins).

Salary The salary range for this role is expected to be [$165,000–$185,000]. This is the range that we in good faith believe is accurate for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, depending upon factors such as skills, experience, location, or other business and organizational needs. This wage range may also be modified in the future.
