The
Senior Accountant
will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of a growing manufacturing organization. The
Senior Accountant
ensures accurate financial records, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and supports month-end and year-end close processes. The
Senior Accountant
will also provide financial insights, cost analysis, and operational support to drive informed business decisions. Key Responsibilities The
Senior Accountant
prepares and reviews journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory variances, and production results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain standard costing processes and perform variance analysis.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost allocations.
Assist with audits, ERP system projects, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control improvements.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA eligibility preferred.
4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in manufacturing.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and cost accounting principles.
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills Experience with ERP implementations or process improvement projects.
Knowledge of inventory management and standard costing methodologies.
Exposure to audit support and internal control documentation.
