About the Role
We are seeking a
Property
Accountant
to manage full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of properties. This role ensures accuracy and compliance with accounting standards while supporting property management teams with timely and reliable financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties. Handle general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations. Review bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and intercompany accounts. Analyze budget vs. actual variances and provide recommendations. Assist with audits and tax filings in collaboration with external partners. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring. Collaborate with property managers and internal teams to maintain accurate financial data. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Remote flexibility.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 3+ years of accounting experience; property management experience preferred. Knowledge of GAAP and property accounting standards. RealPage OneSite experience is a must. Strong Excel and analytical skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
