SUMMARY
Bering Straits Professional Services, a company within the BSNC family is currently seeking a qualified Quality Officer for Consequence Management Support Center in Lexington, KY. The Quality Officer will help oversee the QC Operations department, ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance, formulating audit schedule in accordance with Official Performance Work Statements, ensuring audits are being performed consistently, and proofreading reports before official submission. The Quality Officer will be backup to the QC Manager in being a main point of contact for the Site Director and Operations Manager to establish clear communications of needs within the work site and seeing objectives through to completion.

• Oversee and Perform Inspections and Evaluations
• Write and Proof Policies and Procedures
• Ensure Contractual Compliance for Customer Satisfaction Based on Performance Work Statement
• Assist in Leading Planning Meetings Discussing Outcomes of Audits
• Perform Briefings During In-Process Review Meetings
• Assist in Implementing and Overseeing Quality Control Operations at Consequence Management Support Center

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience •
2 years minimum working in a Quality Control position Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards • Working Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) • Excellent report writing skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications • Ability to Problem Solve • Public Speaking Preferred
• Knowledge of Maximo Inventory System (IBM) • Ability to Communicate clearly and Diplomatically • Self-starting Mentality • Willingness to take Ownership of Projects or Tasks When Necessary NECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
