Accounts Payable Specialist - Bakersfield, CA
$18-$20/hr | On-Site | Full-Time We're seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist with open invoice processing experience to support a busy accounting department in Bakersfield. This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys working with vendors, matching invoices, and maintaining clean records. Key Responsibilities: • Process high-volume AP invoices and verify accuracy • Match invoices to POs and packing slips • Manage vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies • Assist with check runs and weekly payments • Maintain accounting records and support month-end AP tasks • Communicate with internal departments and vendors as needed What We're Looking For: • Previous Accounts Payable experience required • Experience with open invoices / aging reports • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines • Basic Excel and accounting software experience preferred
