Senior Accountant Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time $70k - $80k Our client is a provider of back-office accounting services operating in a shared services model. They support the retail furniture industry and other sectors, delivering efficient and high-quality financial operations. Position Summary The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing core accounting functions, supervising staff, and preparing financial reports. This position requires a strong understanding of real estate accounting, particularly common area maintenance reconciliations, and general ledger management. Responsibilities Prepare and reconcile common area maintenance charges (CAM Reconciliations) Maintain the general ledger and support month-end close processes Oversee accounts payable and support accounts receivable as needed Prepare financial statements Supervise and mentor one direct report Qualifications and Skills Experience in real estate accounting, including familiarity with common area maintenance reconciliations (CAM Reconciliations) Supervisory experience, including team leadership or direct reports Ideally over two years of experience in general ledger accounting Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (flexible depending on experience) Experience with Yardi and/or Sage accounting software Background in franchise or shared services accounting environments is a preferred
