NUTRITIONIST – WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN

Grand Prairie, TX | Onsite Compensation & Schedule • $25.00 per hour • Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch) • W2, Full-time • Start date: ASAP ROLE IMPACT This position provides nutritional assessments, education, and support to WIC participants in the Grand Prairie community. Through professional counseling and evaluations, the Nutritionist plays a key role in improving maternal and child health outcomes by guiding participants toward healthier eating habits and nutritional goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct nutritional assessments using clinical data, dietary recalls, growth charts, and lab results • Determine WIC eligibility and assign appropriate food packages to meet health needs • Deliver individual and group counseling on nutrition, breastfeeding, and healthy habits • Refer participants to additional medical services as appropriate • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address high-risk dietary concerns • Support clinic operations with timely documentation and client service MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required • 2 years of experience as a Dietitian or in a nutritional setting •
