Support Youth in Recovery Through Counseling and Connection

Compass Health Network is seeking a

licensed therapist

or

certified substance use counselor

to join our adolescent

Substance Use Recovery

team. In this impactful office-based role, you’ll provide individual and group counseling to clients ages 9–17, helping them and their families build recovery-focused strategies that improve daily functioning and overall quality of life.

This position includes facilitating

2–3 hours of group sessions per week , in addition to individual sessions and treatment planning. You’ll also play a key role in

collecting and processing urine drug screens , an essential accountability tool in the recovery process.

Key Responsibilities Deliver individual and group therapy for adolescents with substance use disorders and their families Perform the 12 Core Functions of substance use counseling per Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB) standards: Screening, intake, orientation, assessment, education, referral, record keeping, treatment planning, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, and consultation Facilitate group counseling sessions (2–3 hours per week) Complete all required documentation (paper and electronic) within established timeframes Participate in treatment team meetings and interdisciplinary staffings Support internal audits and external compliance reviews Collect and process

urine drug screens

and maintain proper documentation Abide by ethical standards set by MCB and Compass Health Network policies Maintain productivity expectations and caseload standards Respond effectively to clients in crisis when necessary

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s degree preferred

(experience in lieu of education will be considered) At least two (2) years of relevant experience preferred

Licensure / Certification (One of the Following Required):

Certified

through the Missouri Credentialing Board:

CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, or QAP OR

Provisionally or fully licensed

in Missouri:

PLPC, LPC, PLMFT, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW
