Manager, Endpoint Security Engineering – KPMG US

Responsibilities

Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot endpoint protection solutions, including Microsoft Defender and CrowdStrike, across a diverse range of endpoints (servers, workstations, VDI, mobile devices).

Administer and maintain core Microsoft security technologies, including Entra, Intune, and the Microsoft Defender Security Center.

Develop, document, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a strong and compliant security posture.

Create insightful dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in PowerBI and Databricks to support security analysis and incident response.

Oversee the administration of security platforms such as XSOAR and Wiz Cloud, including SSO configuration, role management, and system maintenance.

Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of recent experience deploying and administering endpoint security solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.

Expert-level, hands‑on experience with both Windows and RedHat Linux operating systems, including security-focused system hardening, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Deep practical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, modern threat landscapes, and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001).

Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority security projects and resolve complex issues in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Strong leadership skills with experience in task prioritization, delegation, strategic resource planning, and fostering the development of high-performance teams; exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders across all organizational levels.
