ServiceNow Architect – IRM / Compliance SME Location:

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Architect with deep expertise in Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and regulatory compliance to lead IRM solution design and implementation across diverse enterprise environments. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in translating complex risk, compliance, and operational requirements into scalable, automated ServiceNow workflows that strengthen enterprise governance and readiness. In this position, you will architect IRM solutions across modules including Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, Vendor Risk Management, and Business Continuity Management. You will guide clients through regulatory frameworks, risk methodologies, control monitoring strategies, and platform best practices—all while driving IRM roadmap development and long‑term platform optimization. This is a high‑impact role working with cross‑functional teams across legal, compliance, audit, and enterprise risk organizations.

Required Skills / Education • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field

• 7+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years on the ServiceNow Platform

• 2+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow IRM modules

• 3+ years working with regulatory compliance frameworks in risk management environments

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and IRM Implementation Specialist certifications

• Experience designing workflows for control monitoring, regulatory reporting, continuous compliance, and automated risk assessments

• Hands‑on experience advising clients on IRM best practices, compliance operations, and risk methodologies

• Working knowledge of regulatory and industry frameworks such as NIST, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and NERC

• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications Experience solving complex challenges involving ServiceNow integrations, platform capabilities, and regulatory requirements

Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-series, SOC)

Understanding of NERC CIP standards, utilities, energy, or critical infrastructure environments

Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CIA, or other compliance credentials

Experience working with federal, state, or local regulatory bodies

Prior consulting experience supporting public sector or large enterprise compliance programs

What You Will Do

Architect and implement ServiceNow IRM solutions, including Risk, Policy & Compliance, Audit, Vendor Risk, and BCM

Translate regulatory and operational requirements into scalable IRM workflows and automated platform capabilities

Configure dashboards, controls, metrics, and reporting to enhance audit readiness and continuous compliance

Partner with legal, risk, audit, and compliance stakeholders to align IRM processes with regulatory obligations

Provide strategic guidance on IRM best practices, platform governance, and long‑term roadmap planning

Build monitoring capabilities to support enterprise risk reporting, control effectiveness, and regulatory metrics

Lead design workshops, solutioning sessions, and implementation planning for IRM modules and integrations
