Position Summary This position provides exposure to high‑profile commercial litigation involving intellectual property conflicts, securities matters, business torts, privacy disputes, class actions, and related business‑critical matters. Associates will be entrusted with litigation strategy, court‑level interactions, pre‑trial execution, and day‑to‑day case management.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation from pre‑complaint evaluation through trial.
Conduct investigations, develop litigation strategies, and lead discovery efforts.
Draft persuasive briefs, motions, and related submissions.
Prepare witnesses, manage deposition strategy, and participate in trial preparation.
Advise clients on litigation avoidance, risk assessment, internal processes, and dispute strategies.
Provide regular, strategic communication to clients and internal stakeholders.
Travel for hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.
Qualifications
2–5 years of commercial litigation experience, ideally including exposure to IP disputes, securities issues, or class action matters.
Strong drafting experience including motions, briefs, and discovery strategy.
California Bar admission preferred; eligible candidates will be considered.
Judicial clerkship experience valued, though strong litigation credentials may substitute.
Demonstrated ownership of litigation matters, including client‑facing communication and strategic responsibility.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to develop practice‑building skills.
