Customer Business Development (CBD) is the Sales organization at The Magnum Ice Cream Company. CBD works with customers and internal teams to create and execute joint business plans that deliver value. CBD leaders pioneer new products, build categories, and develop partnerships with retailers for strong growth results. The Sales Director of Walmart for our Ice Cream business is dedicated to growing our Ice Cream business at Walmart through channel strategy and accelerated joint business planning. What You Will Do
The Walmart Associate Director of Ice Cream will establish and develop sustained business relationships and drive profitable sales for the Ice Cream Category. You will deliver sales and profit share goals while improving ROI on customer investments in line with joint business plan targets and brand strategies. You will also lead in-store and online presence by guiding the extended team in Shopper Marketing, eCommerce, Category Insights, Business Development and Supply Chain. This role has one direct report: a Senior Sales Analyst (1C). Who You Are
You’re an influential leader: lead multifunctional efforts with customer counterparts; develop and execute joint business plans; manage NSV and trade investment; lead retail initiatives; manage a direct report and a multifunctional team. You’re a strategy guru: customize corporate marketing and merchandising programs to win with Walmart; coordinate and manage CD initiatives; coordinate Joint Business Plans. You love to win and have fun doing it: drive strategic relationships and accelerated growth within approved Trade Marketing parameters and investment efficiency. You’re a dot connector: interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders; balance individual customer needs with total market integrity. You are a self-starter: thrive in ambiguity, develop new solutions, and influence change with a bias for action. You have strong financial acumen: you can own and manage a P&L and improve performance KPIs. What You Will Need To Succeed
Undergraduate degree is required 10+ years’ Customer Business Manager or equivalent management experience Walmart channel Account Management with CPG experience required Strong financial acumen and ability to manage a P&L Trade Marketing and Category Management experience a plus Working knowledge of Nielsen/IRI, Trade Promotion Management and Customer POS Data Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to relate with multiple levels of management, internally and externally Strategic thinker who can work effectively in a highly collaborative environment Strong relationship-building and management skills Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence strategically Additional Information
As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business by end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company. Unilever embraces diversity and encourages applicants from all walks of life. Local conditions apply to the position. Pay: The pay range for this position is $141,680 to $212,520. Bonus eligible. Long-Term Incentive (LTI) eligible.
