Base pay range $170,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
An established leader in the contemporary apparel sector is seeking an experienced Director of Sales (wholesale) for their west coast sales team. The ideal candidate must have strong relationships with key accounts (department stores, e-comm, off-price, private label) in the contemporary apparel space. This role will lead a team of sales executives as well as manage a robust book of business. This role will be based in Los Angeles and may require consistent domestic travel.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic plan for growth and expansion for the company's business through existing and new distribution channels
Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and develop a team
Cultivate strong relationships with buyers at key retailers
Collaborate with cross functional partners across the company
Qualifications
MUST have extensive experience (10+ years) in the wholesale apparel industry, with strong relationships in the contemporary apparel sector
Must have experience leading a wholesale sales team
Must reside in the metro LA area, no remote candidates will be considered
Must be able to travel domestically up to 50%
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
