We’re partnering with a
well-established Los Angeles–based apparel company (40+ years in business)
to hire a
Director of Sales.
This is a
hands-on, relationship-driven role
for someone who already sells into major
off-price and value retailers
and knows how to drive
high-volume apparel programs .
What You’ll Be Doing
Own and grow key national & regional retail accounts including
Burlington, Ross, TJ Maxx, Beall’s
Drive revenue growth
Present seasonal lines and programs tailored to each retailer’s pricing and customer base
Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and program terms
Partner closely with
design, merchandising, and production
to align product with market demand
Monitor sales performance, react to trends, and improve sell-through
Open new doors with off-price, department store, and specialty accounts
Oversee order flow, production calendars, and delivery execution
Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with buyers and internal teams
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of apparel sales experience
Established buyer relationships
at off-price/value retailers
(Burlington, Ross, TJ Maxx, Beall’s required)
Proven success driving
volume business
in fast-paced apparel environments
Deep understanding of the
off-price/value apparel market
Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable being fully accountable for results
Location & Travel
Regular travel to retailer headquarters for line presentations and meetings
Bonus:
