Role Overview We’re seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Senior Tax Accountant to manage complex tax assignments for high‑net‑worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120‑S, 1065; 990 experience a plus).
Prepare and review individual and trust tax returns.
Assist the Tax Manager with complex assignments as needed.
Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide expert guidance.
Advise on financial sales strategies and investment planning.
Stay up-to-date on changing tax legislation affecting our clients and operations.
Maintain exceptional organization and effective communication with clients and staff via verbal, written, and visual methods.
Required Qualifications
CPA or EA license (CPA strongly preferred)
Minimum 5+ years of public accounting experience (small‑to‑medium‑size firms ideal)
Extensive knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and regulatory reporting
Proficiency in QuickBooks; knowledge of Lacerte and Microsoft Office (a plus)
Strong analytical skill and ability to interpret complex financial data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated problem‑solving capabilities and outstanding customer service
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience with non‑profit accounting practices is desirable
