We are seeking an experienced Chief Estimator to join our team. The Chief Estimator will be responsible for managing the estimating team, creating accurate estimates for projects, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and participating in pre‑construction and post‑construction activities. Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and prepare complete cost estimates. Manage and direct the team of Estimators and oversee estimates. Source and review pricing information, bid documents, drawings and specifications. Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers and negotiate prices and terms. Participate in pre‑construction activities, such as reviewing cost estimates, scheduling, and budgeting. Advise project teams on the best materials and designs to maximize cost savings. Conduct post‑construction reviews and analyze actual costs against estimates. Develop and maintain relationships with clients. Maintain a database of current and historical project data. Prepare and present reports to upper management. Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of experience in construction estimating. Experience bidding/estimating for Healthcare, Industrial, Food And Beverage, Manufacturing, Assisted Living, Design‑Build, and other construction projects. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Highly organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to multitask. Software proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam Revu, Sage 300, and Microsoft Office Suite. Benefits
