Base pay range
$225,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role for someone who blends deep technical and architectural judgment with strong product instincts and change leadership. You’ll start with being a "hands on leader" no direct reports but are expected to scale and lead a high‑impact organization of 7–10 report as the department grows. What you’ll do
Lead the transition from project-based delivery to a product-centric engineering model focused on user experience, velocity, and measurable business outcomes Define and evolve enterprise-scale architecture across Azure, .NET, React, and AI-enabled platforms, balancing speed, quality, and long-term sustainability Drive AI adoption across the engineering org, including developer tooling, automation, and modern coding practices to upskill teams Partner closely with product, data, and business leaders to translate strategy into executable roadmaps Act as executive sponsor for major initiatives, ensuring reliable, secure, and on-time delivery Build, mentor, and scale a high-performance engineering leadership team Establish standards across SDLC, DevSecOps, observability, reliability, and engineering excellence Champion a culture of ownership, experimentation, and continuous learning What we’re looking for
15+ years of software engineering experience, including 8+ years in senior engineering leadership roles (VP, SVP, Head of Engineering) Proven experience leading enterprise-scale engineering transformation or modernization Strong product mindset with the ability to make pragmatic delivery vs architecture tradeoffs Deep understanding of modern architectures (cloud-native, APIs, microservices, event-driven systems) Experience with Azure, .NET, React; AI/ML and automation experience strongly preferred Financial services, fintech, or data-intensive platform experience preferred Exceptional communicator and change leader with high EQ Seniority Level
