Our client, a leading Global Am Law 100 firm is seeking an Associate (4–7 years) to join its highly ranked Corporate Transactions practice, with a strong focus on M&A. This role sits within the firm’s Health Care Practice Group, though prior healthcare experience is not required, strong M&A experience is essential. This role is open to either the
Atlanta
or
Chicago
office. Once acclimated to the firm and position, there is flexibility for a hybrid schedule.
The firm’s Healthcare M&A team is a market leader, handling complex transactions for hospitals, physician groups, and health tech companies. Consistently recognized in top legal rankings like Chambers USA, the team is also among the global leaders in M&A deal volume across industries.
Responsibilities
Join a premier corporate transactional team and receive strong mentorship from some top attorneys in the nation.
Work on complex M&A, capital markets, joint ventures, and corporate governance matters.
Gain exposure to high-value healthcare transactions (no prior sector experience needed).
Meaningful opportunities for client contact, leadership, and long‑term career growth.
Be a part of a team strongly committed to Pro Bono work and heavily involved in community outreach, volunteering and much more.
Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in a large law firm or sophisticated boutique.
Strong M&A background.
Excellent drafting skills, business judgment, and ability to run workstreams independently.
J.D.
Licensed and in good standing in the state of your office location.
