What To Expect We are seeking a Sr. Architect to work on multiple projects across Fremont Tesla automotive manufacturing facilities as part of a multi-disciplined team. This person will directly contribute to projects and our factories in a collaborative work environment including supporting efforts related to interior design and workplace planning. This position is on-site in Fremont, CA.
What You'll Do
Support the design and construction of expansions and renovations to existing industrial, manufacturing, and office facilities in our Fremont facilities
Responsible for developing architectural design packages for permitting and construction
Prepare design diagrams, drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules
Coordinate with multidiscipline project teams including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Piping/Plumbing under the guidance of an Architectural lead
Work with various manufacturing, construction, and facilities stakeholders to understand end user needs and deliver results that meet the collective team needs
Create or update as-built and design drawings by performing site visits and field measurements and utilize and improve design standards
What You'll Bring
Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent experience
Minimum 7 years of experience
Architectural license preferred
Advanced proficiency in Revit. Ability to complete detailed models, coordinate disciplines, create schedules and details, work in worksets, and create families in Revit
Understanding of how to create efficient construction and permit drawing sets
Understanding of California Building Code Requirements and seeking construction administration experience
Enjoy diving into technical and spatial problems and learn about manufacturing and construction while doing so

Expected Compensation $100,000 - $150,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
